The Regal Theater was built in 1926 for Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moskau. It had an Art Deco parapet above a rectangular marquee. The front facade was remodeled in 1941 to add additional space above the lobby area. The facade has a stepped parapet wall with sharp geometric lines and a vertically projecting multi-light window. The new facade exhibits the period's taste for streamlined shapes. The Regal's marquee projects over the sidewalk and has a neon billboard on each side. The original display windows have been covered to protect them from damage.

As you enter the Regal, original mosaic tile floors greet you. There is a horse and rider canvas on the wall. The original stenciling can be seen peeking out from chipping paint on an entrance door. As you continue inside, the water fountain is an original art deco part of the theater. The dance floor and stage may be restorable. There is a long bar on the south side of the former seating area.

Three rooms and a bathroom were added when the second floor was added. The Regal is steel I-beam construction, and the main roof is a steel dome. There are some water leaks around the flashing where the dome meets the second floor, and the guttering needs to be updated.

The small neighborhood theater from the 1920's is fast disappearing. The Regal may be eligible for the National Register as an individual building.
