The home remained in the Lowenberg family until 1921 when William Land, founder of the Land Construction Company, purchased it to use as his home and office. Then in 1928 Isadore and Esther Eveloff bought the home and stayed through World War II.
The home has lost much of its original woodwork and the fireplace mantels from recent vandals, and has been used as an illegal dumping site for used furniture and trash for many years. The home could be saved by a dedicated owner willing to invest lots of time and energy, but structurally it remains stable. The roof is in need of replacing, it is in need of a complete removing of all debris and rehabilitation.
The current owner acquired the property to repair it but unfortunately ran out of funds. He is willing to sell the home to a preservation minded individual.
